The nuts
The best possible hand given the current board.
Also: nuts, nut flush, nut hand
If you hold the nuts, you can’t be beaten. The nuts changes as each card is dealt: the nut hand on the flop may not be the nuts by the river. Drawing to the nuts gives your draws the best implied odds.
