Open-ended straight draw
Four cards in sequence that can be completed at either end, giving eight outs.
Also: OESD, open-ended straight draw, open-ender
With 9-8 on a T-7-2 board, either a jack or a six makes your straight. An open-ended straight draw hits about 31.5% of the time from the flop to the river.
