Domination
When your hand shares a card with an opponent’s hand that has a better second card.
Also: dominated, dominates
KJ is dominated by AK and KQ: when a king flops, you’re likely to lose to a better kicker. Avoiding dominated hands is one of the fastest ways to stop losing chips before the flop.
