Under the gun (UTG)
The first seat to act before the flop, directly to the left of the big blind.
Also: under the gun, UTG
Being first to act with the whole table behind you is the toughest spot before the flop. Under-the-gun ranges are the tightest at the table — usually pairs, strong aces and suited broadway hands.
