Small blind
The smaller forced bet, posted by the player directly to the left of the button.
Also: small blind
The small blind is usually half the big blind. It’s widely considered the least profitable seat at the table, because you’re forced to invest before seeing your cards and you’ll be out of position after the flop in almost every hand.
Many players prefer to raise or fold from the small blind rather than call.
